Nicholas is based between London and
Lagos and manages africapractice’s
Investor Relations business unit. He
began his career as a business journalist
and has worked in over ten emerging market
economies. In Africa he has covered Kenya,
Ethiopia, Malawi, Angola and Nigeria. He later
trained as an investment manager and worked at
Heartwood Wealth (formerly Cripps Portfolio) in
London before joining africapractice. Nicholas
combines his contacts in London’s asset management
community with his knowledge of African capital markets to service the financial communication needs of Africa’s rising companies. Nicholas holds a BSc in Economics from University College London; the Investment Management Certificate; and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) level II candidate. He speaks fluent French and Spanish.
