Gregor Pfeifer

Before joining africapractice, Gregor worked at
UNEP’s Major Groups and Stakeholders branch
in Nairobi, Kenya where he was involved in
organising the 6th Global Civil Society Forum as
well as the development of environmental
strategies linking indigenous peoples and
biodiversity. He also worked at the Association
of African Universities in Accra, Ghana
focusing on HIV/AIDS awareness and
prevention in higher education. Gregor holds
an MA International Studies and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies and an MA in Philosophy from the University of Bremen, Germany. He also studied at the University of Toronto and the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris and received several scholarships from the German National Academic Foundation, the German Academic Exchange Service and the Carlo Schmid Programme.
