Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a term being used more and more frequently in Africa. But have you ever wondered what a company benefits from investing in community development projects?

The paper explains that it boils down to changing perceptions of CSR in Africa by businesses, governments and the public. It suggests two golden rules that company must follow to ensure that CSR delivers a win-win scenario for all. These rules are (i) invest strategically; and (ii) communicate responsibly.
