ExxonMobil and its affiliated companies are present on a world scale, doing business in some 200 countries and territories. They explore for oil and natural gas on six of the seven continents and are the world's largest non-government gas marketer and reserves holder. ExxonMobil has revenue of $400 billion per year and employs 100,000 people worldwide. It has a strong African presence with operations in Chad, Cameroon Angola and Nigeria. With more than 30 deepwater discoveries off West Africa and numerous onshore fields, 2003 output was over one million barrels per day and expected to triple by 2005, constituting over 30% of ExxonMobil's global production.
