Diageo

Diageo is a premium drinks business, producing, marketing and distributing beverage alcohol brands across the spirits, wine and beer categories. Diageo is a global company, trading in over 180 markets around the world. Diageo operates eight of its own breweries and three spirit plants in Africa under its Diageo Africa business. Diageo Africa also works with joint venture partners in six more countries. With 5,000 staff Africa accounts for over 20% of Diageo workforce worldwide, and over one-fifth of all Diageo capital expenditure is in Africa. Diageo Africa’s companies in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Uganda are quoted on the local stock exchanges.
