Afren Energy Resources (AER)

AER is the fully owned Nigerian subsidiary of Afren plc. Established in May 2005 the company has acquired eight oil and gas assets in Nigeria and established partnerships with six indigenous companies. The Company’s project at Okutu Seto realized First Oil in 2008. The parent company, Afren plc is listed on the London Alternative Investments Market (AIM) and is an Africa focused independent oil and gas operator, with assets in a range of countries across the continent. Afren specialise in providing finance and technical expertise for indigenous African companies with oil and gas assets.
