africapractice conducted a one-day, two-module workshop to equip senior staff of a national beverage business in Seychelles with the skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with the media and other stakeholders.
Part one equipped participants with key communication skills, including tips on preparing the content of press releases and presentations, as well as techniques to ensure that you ‘look right’ and ‘sound right’ on camera.
Part two focused on handling the media in a crisis. Participants took part in mocked up interviews with hostile journalists and learned a number of key skills for successful media relations.
